Your first thought about shingles and their color may be “who cares, it’s just shingles,” but the color of your roof largely impacts the curb appeal of your home. How the shingles pair with your siding, trim, and/or brick is important to the overall beauty of your home.

Owens Corning offers some great color pairing ideas on their style boards, which we have used here in our blog to show you how important the color of your shingles is. We will be referring to Owens Corning Shingles TruDefinition Duration shingles. A very common and preferred color is Driftwood because it is fairly neutral and pairs well with a large variety of colors. So if you are planning on painting your home soon after a reroof or selling your home to someone who may remodel, this is a great color choice.

J-Conn has a fully stocked showroom where you can come and view several different brands of shingles (Owens Corning, TAMKO, Atlas and more) and the colors offered. We would be happy to help you select a color that is perfect for your home. Come see us!
